your sense of sight
How Sensing Wellness looks towards satisfying your sense of sight is encouraging mindfulness to your eyes, your eyelashes, your eyelids. Repeat aloud, “I am setting intention to find time to consciously open and shut my eyes.”
The power and art of visualization is one of the key principles to satisfy your sense of sight. When you close your eyes and find stillness in the darkness, allow your mind to find your happy place. Take a deep breath and find the peace and joy in the space. Take another breath and this time really lean into how it makes you feel to be right here. Think about what words you would use to describe this space. What colors stood out to you in this image? Next, I want you to think about yourself completing a goal. It could be anything something short-term, long-term, small, large, anything. When you lean into how it feels to have completed or accomplished this goal, that level of energetic frequency allows you to attract like frequency.
Your brain can create beautiful images of you, your happy space, and authentic forms of success in your life. Think about the level of motivation, drive and dedication you can embody if you practice visualizing your future self as the person you are, or would like to be. Repeat aloud, “I am grateful to feel each emotion when I succeed in my goal.”
Now that you’ve been able to heighten your vibration and lean into the art of visualization when your eyes are closed, next I want to bring your attention and awareness to the space around. What surrounds you? What can you find gratitude in that is in the space with you. You might think this may be difficult depending on where you are when you are reading and while I want to validate that, I also challenge you. When you are able to find gratitude for all the details around you. You essentially raise your vibration to that of abundance. This is truly a practice, and not an easy one. But, when you can feel a sense of abundance and appreciation to all that surrounds you, your own version of abundance will find you.
When you practice meditation to your most successful self with a heightened awareness to your emotional intelligence, paired with daily gratitude and finding you already are living in abundance, positive changes as in opportunities, connections, or experiences appear. I truly believe in the power we each obtain to create our reality. When you find a sense of consistency to the practice, you are able to live in the present moment and begin identifying and receiving omens and signs from the universe that you are consciously living in your version of alignment.
It took me 26 years to read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and while I wish I could have read the book earlier, I am incredibly thankful for when I actually finished it and could interpret the book with a mature lens. What I takeaway is truly significant and profound concepts that not only give me a sense of internal hope, but a confidence in my spiritual faith that God, the Universe, our Creator has given each of us a legacy and impact in the world. Our ability to create change, the development of each of our journey’s is truly open to whatever we see for ourselves. The clarity this can give to someone, especially at the right time, can be overwhelmingly affirming. If you’re interested in understanding the power in seeing omens or signs that you are moving in the right direction, I highly recommend The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
As I have integrated satisfying my sense of sight, I have set a goal for myself to meditate every morning as soon as I awake. Not only has this allowed me to move forward with clarity and focus, but it has allowed me to protect my peace and move forward in the day with excitement for my omens to show or take action to progress on my journey to succeeding my goals. Whether it looks like meditation to you, or praying, or finding moments to practice gratitude and honor your higher power, the ability to raise your vibration and energy with a receptive and malleable brain in the morning, starts your day the best way possible. My next goals are to integrate an evening meditation before bed.
These practices may be tough to remember or may be challenging to hold yourself accountable. That is where my first project, The Sensory Awareness Journal, will help lay out an organized method to write, visualize and practice satisfying your sense of sight through your own writing. I am devoted to creating and sharing the best resources to hold space for your journey to full sensory satisfaction and self awareness.
As always, I am so grateful you’ve read until here. Cheers to us radiating in joy and grounding in peace.
With love, Jared.
